The Red Clay Radio Control Racing Club (or RC3, for short) is an Island-based club of radio control enthusiasts, who organize and participate in events promoting the R/C hobby. This non-profit group consists of members with a broad history in the hobby; from over a decade’s worth, to first year rookies; and everyone is more than willing to share their knowledge and experiences with each other.
The R/C hobby consists of vast range of vehicles, including rock crawlers, stadium trucks, short course trucks, drift cars, touring cars, buggies, truggies, even ground pounding monster trucks. These all come in different scales, their size relative their full-size counterparts. Electric for indoor or outdoor fun, or if you’re more interested in tuning, there are Nitro-powered engines that give you the sound, power, and smell of a combustion engine.
RC3 offers participants racing events where they can complete for fun against other people with the same or similar vehicles.
Whether at our off-road track located behind Great Hobbies in Stratford, or one of our winter indoor events, like the Waterfront Mall in Summerside, you’ll have an enjoyable time with some great people in this exciting and challenging hobby.
